
Inter strengthen title grip with another win
League leaders Inter continue to impress. With a 5-2 win at home against Roma, Inter recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Serie A and the gap to second placed AC Milan is now nine points. However, AC Milan have one game in hand. Roma are in sixth place in the league.
Inter took the lead just before the half-time whistle as Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored, with an assist by Piotr Zieliński.
Just three minutes later later, Marcus Thuram increased the lead for Inter, with an assist by Hakan Çalhanoğlu.
In the 70th minute, Lorenzo Pellegrini reduced the score for Roma.
Inter chocked Roma when Lautaro Martínez netted in the second minute, with an assist from Marcus Thuram.
Inter play Como on 12 April, Cagliari on 17 April and Torino (away) on 26 April. Roma's next opponents are Pisa on 10 April, Atalanta on 18 April and Bologna (away) on 25 April.
Roma equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Gianluca Mancini found the net, with an assist by Devyne Rensch.
Straight after the break, Lautaro Martínez found the net and increased the team's lead.
Nicolò Barella also increased the lead for Inter in the 63rd minute.
