Wilson scores as Newcastle sink Brentford

The second-half goal from Wilson was to be the only goal of the game when Newcastle won 1-0 at home to Brentford in the Premier League.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 64th minute before Callum Wilson scored a penalty to make it 1–0 for the Magpies, a goal that decided the game.

Newcastle have now won two and lost three of their last five games having scored 8 and conceded seven. Meanwhile Brentford have one win and three draws with 8 goals for and 6 against.
