Tottenham beat Sheffield United and continue winning run

The game between Tottenham and Sheffield United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday finished 2-1. The result means Tottenham have four straight wins in the Premier League.

The first half finished 0-0, and it took until the 73rd minute before Gustavo Hamer gave the the Blades the lead as he netted, with an assist by Jack Robinson.

The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Richarlison found the net for the Spurs, with an assist by Ivan Perisic.

The deciding goal came in extra time, when Dejan Kulusevski scored for Tottenham, with an assist by Richarlison, to completed Tottenham's come back.

The result means the fifth game in a row without a win for Sheffield United.

Tottenham have now won four and drawn one of their last five games having scored 13 and conceded five. Meanwhile Sheffield United have and one draw with 5 goals for and 9 against.

It leaves Tottenham in second place and Sheffield United in 17th. Tottenham are 2 points behind Manchester City.

Tottenham have scored 13 goals in total in the Premier League: four at home and nine away.

Sheffield United have scored 5: three goals at home and two goals away.

The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 1-0 home win for Sheffield United in March.

Tottenham next Premier League games are against Arsenal (away) on 24 September, Liverpool (home) on 30 September and Luton (away) on 7 October. Sheffield United play Newcastle (home) on 24 September, West Ham (away) on 30 September and Fulham (away) on 7 October.

Elsewhere in the Premier League Liverpool won 3-1 against Wolverhampton, Aston Villa defeated 3-1 Crystal Palace, Fulham picked up a narrow 1-0 victory against Luton, Brighton won 3-1 against Manchester United, Manchester City won 3-1 against West Ham and Newcastle won 1-0 against Brentford.
